I was born and raised in Ridley Township by my single mother and continue to live in Ridley today, with my wife and children.
A 1984 graduate of Ridley High School, I was the varsity basketball team captain, which continued throughout my college years as a King’s College varsity basketball team member. I was also a head coach of Ridley Jr. A.B.A. from 2003-2015 and a head football coach for Folsom Athletic Association.
As an adult, I drew on the importance of my athletic experiences and the positive influence of my coaches. I decided to become a coach and youth mentor to continue giving back to the community. It is this tradition that I believe makes Ridley the strong community I know and love. I feel very fortunate to have been surrounded by positive role models throughout my life, and the opportunity to pay it forward has had a profound impact on me.
I was a member of the Ridley School Board of Directors from 2006 – 2019. I was honored to help lead the education system where I began my collegiate career. I oversaw a nearly 100 million dollar budget in this role and helped establish policy for over 5,800 students and 850 employees.
This is my home. This is where I have built my business and where I am raising my family. I want to ensure that the values and traditions of the community that shaped me are strengthened and preserved so that they can shape the next generation.
WHAT ELSE SHOULD YOU KNOW?
I am a man of humble beginnings who is proud to still live and work in the community I was born and raised in.
Growing up as the son of a single mother, things did not come easy to me, and certainly, nothing was ever “handed” to me. I understand the struggle because I am a product of the struggle. I feel that where I began in comparison to where I am today is proof of what is possible when someone sets a goal and focuses their efforts and hard work on achieving that goal.
Unlike many candidates who have run for office in Delaware County in recent elections, I did not grow up somewhere else and move here later in life. I do not have ulterior motives or a hidden agenda to run for office.
I am a lifelong resident of Ridley Township, a graduate of Ridley High School (Class of 1984), and have operated my private law practice out of the Holmes section of the Township since 2002. I genuinely understand Delaware County values.
Although the process is political, the job is not. I have spent my entire career learning, understanding, and working with the law. My ethical obligations of upholding the laws and protecting citizen’s rights are the guiding principles in all decisions I make and will make as your District Justice. I will treat everyone equally, with fairness, integrity, and respect.
On day one, I will be ready to serve and look forward to working with residents and law enforcement to ensure our communities are safe and enjoyable places to raise our families.
I hope I can count on your support. Thank you for your time and consideration.
